Red Generation Website!

Journal Entry: Wed Apr 30, 2008, 3:25 PM
Welcome to yet another website launch. I'm happy to announce that Red Generation, as well as my other written work finally have a place to call home:

Silent Novels - [link]

The layout is complete but I'm still going through and re-editing Red Generation chapters before posting them up. The gallery is looking a bit empty too but I'll be working on more art for that in the next few days.

The site design is much more basic than Linear, but it is a place to read things so I didn't feel the need for something grand and flashy. I've also set up a mailing list which people can join and receive an e-mail when I make updates to the site as well as any of my stories, book sales and artwork.

Supanova 2008 - Huge success!

Journal Entry: Tue Apr 15, 2008, 3:43 PM
I know it's taken me a while to write about this but I've been totally swamped at work lately. The reason for this was because I had to to make myself scarce for a few days preparing for my first appearance at our annual comic convention here in Brisbane.

Which might I add, was a BIG success for Linear! (My Comic)

I was totally overwhelmed by the interest myself and my partner :iconbusugal: were getting for our webcomics. I had ordered 60 copies of my books from the USA, and thought it was overkill and I didn't expect to sell many at all. But I sold about 50 of them over the course of the weekend so I was overjoyed with that. I also managed to sell most of my Linear merchandise as well! Which was another added bonus.

Hehe, oh and I got asked out... so many times... (My BOOKS were for sale people, not ME!) But most of the guys who asked me out also bought books, so I can't be complaining! I felt sorry for my boyfriend though, he was always standing right there when they asked me LOL. Poor guy.

I'll definitely by hosting a booth again next year. It was so worth all the money, work and stress that went into the organisation of the event.

There isn't too much in there at the moment, I'll have to design up more things when I get the time but I've already made some sales, which has me really excited!
